  • Dwight Edwards - Senior Pastor

    Born in El Paso, Texas, Dwight Edwards is a direct descendent of renowned theologian and pastor, Jonathan Edwards. He has been a pastor for over thirty years in various capacities. A former professional tennis player and a current bestselling author, he has ministered throughout the United States and many places in the world over the last 35 years. He is also widely sought after as a motivational speaker for businesses, schools, athletic teams, and governmental agencies and has given presentations at Yale, Princeton, The Air Force Academy, Vanderbilt, Rice, Texas A&M University, and many other schools. He is a graduate of The University of Mary Hardin Baylor and attended Dallas Theological Seminary.

    Dwight lives in Houston with his wife, Lauri.

    Roles: Main pastor on Sunday mornings, leader of Bible studies and seminars, writer of the devotional emails and Edgemail.

  • Max Flinn - Worship Leader

    Max is a local country artist who loves playing a mix of old gospel hymns and modern worship music with a country influence. Max received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Houston and worked in the energy industry for four years prior to making the leap into full time music.

    Roles: Head of worship and Sunday music and media setup

  • Gretchen Oertli - Administrative Assistant

    Gretchen received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English from Rice University. Currently, she is an English teacher at a local high school and has been a part of WatersEdge for three years.

    Roles: Sunday setup & hospitality, website, kids ministry, and various programs

  • Broun Stacy - Associate Pastor

    Broun was born and raised in Houston, Texas and has spent time all over the world, but the Lord found a way to bring him back “home” over the years. A life-long longhorn fan Broun cheers for the Burnt Orange, loves Reformed theology, and seeing people collide into a relationship with Christ. He has a Masters of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and has been in ministry for over 10 years.
